We use words to express ourselves with through writing and speaking, even thinking. We choose the words that come to mind to help reflect how we feel, what we believe, what we want, what we’ve experienced.
But, did you know that the words you choose can also impact how you feel? How you feel in terms of your current mood, as well as the underlying emotions – self-esteem, satisfaction, worth…
Take a quick inventory of how you’re feeling about your career, your partner, your direction.
Are there any areas in particular where you feel stuck, unfulfilled or just generally not satisfied?
What are have you been saying about this area of your life?
Think about where you WANT to be in those areas. How could you begin to shift your wording? What could you stop saying altogether? What could you even start saying?
Please join me for this 3-week exploration into the power our words have on our lives.
Together we will share personal examples and look at new ways of expressing ourselves that will empower and uplift ourselves, as well as those around us. Together we will begin to increase our level of happiness and satisfaction.
