Time to THRIVE!
4 Steps to Shed the Shoulds &
Live a Life That Feels Ever More Like YOU
You know the experience of going to your closet to get ready for your day or that big event and finding that there’s nothing there that feels quite right? It’s like nothing fits or looks like you.
For too many of us, that’s what life feels like. It’s happening, sure. But it doesn’t fit quite right or feel like you.
The result is heavy, effortful, and exhausting. And it can leave you feeling like you’re missing it. Like life is passing you by. It’s awful. And after all we’ve been through in the last few years there can be such an overwhelming sense of urgency to find a better way — to live a better life.
There is another way.
The great news is that knowing life feels far short of what you thought your life could be is the first step to actually building that life. And building that life involves a practice of letting you be ever more of Y-O-U. That’s authenticity. You being you. And living a life you love and thrive in.
So, let yourself THRIVE!
Join us as together we explore what authenticity means, why it’s a worthy journey, and what it can look like to shed the shoulds and activate your authenticity along the way.
Isn’t it time you loved the story you’re living? You can. It’s closer than you think.

Meet Brian Perry
Brian Perry serves as a Copywriter, Story Coach, Singer-Songwriter, Speaker, and Author. He works with people drawn to a calling. They’re creative, service oriented, purpose-driven people with a message and a mission — but they’re feeling blocked or stuck in some way. With a background in Human and Organizational Development, CTI Co-Active Coaching, and decades serving through his music, speaking, and workshops, Brian helps you find the confidence to claim your story and the words to share your story. Because living your story matters.
This is for you if...
- You’re exhausted from trying to be all things to all the people.
- You’ve lost touch with who you really are.
- You know you need to do more for yourself but you don’t know how or even what that would look like.
- You keep feeling the nagging sense that there must be another way.
- You’re ready to deepen your relationship with others — and yourself.
- You’re ready to feel at home in your own skin and your own life.
- You’re ready to start trusting yourself.
- You’re ready to start thriving!
Put an end to feeling like you have to tell people what you think they want to hear and begin to express your true feelings and beliefs. No one truly benefits and it’s simply unsustainable.
Lost in a sea of shoulds, surrendering our truest selves in an effort to be something for everyone else, we’re not — in fact — in relationship with ourselves or our loved ones. We’re pretending to be.
With practice, you can transform the depth and authenticity of your connection to others and yourself. Ultimately, it’s about learning to listen deeply and honor what’s true. It’s about giving those you care about what you long for, the gifting of feeling seen and accepted.
As we learn to show up as ourselves and lovingly meet people where they are, we free them and us to thrive. For real.
A Note from Julie
You may not know this about me, but there was a time when I felt trapped in a mundane existence and was missing the deep sense of fulfillment and joy that I have created in my life today.
I left my corporate position in the middle of the Great Recession and began my entrepreneurial journey…without really having a clue as to where I wanted to go.
This is so much of the stuff I wish I would have known when I started out - and even back in my cubicle days. It’s what I needed to know.
My goal is not to tell you to simply have a positive mindset or work harder or tell you to create a vision board and that your dreams will magically come true. Not one bit.
My goal is to shine a light on the pieces that are most often ignored when creating a vision and setting goals. The pieces that are also very likely what’s delaying - or preventing altogether - forward movement towards living your life fully and authentically.
Rarely (if ever!) is there ever going to be a “perfect” time to take action towards your goals and dreams. I mean, isn’t there always a "when this project is done", "not enough time", "not enough money" or "when the kids are out of the house" that’s going to be there?! Seriously, there’s always going to be some excuse.
That’s why you have to make the time and take action. Blocking time to attend this workshop is a perfect first step towards figuring out the right next step forward.
Not only that, but it's also going to be a fun time!
Can’t wait to see you there!
Enjoy the journey,

"...I have learned that I have the power and ability to make changes in my life without waiting for years to be successful...— Sue Marshall
"...Her professional method also prevented me from backsliding. I honestly don't know what would have happened if I had not worked with Julie. Thank you, Julie!" — David Belote
A Note from Brian
What’s alive for you right now? That’s the question Julie asked me as we sat down for a virtual hang scheduled to go about 45 minutes that instead went 2 hours. And no wonder, what a great place to start.
What’s alive for me right now? Urgency.
This isn’t a new feeling. From my earliest memories, I’ve felt a pull, a sense that life can and should have purpose and meaning. And as the years have unfolded it’s become more and more clear that the path to living that kind of life isn’t about becoming someone to meet others’ expectations. It’s about becoming the truest version of me.
Coming out of the pandemic, that pull has reached a fevered pitch. And I see it in my loved ones and the people I serve, too.
Every day during these last several years part of my morning practice has been to ask — to offer up — what is mine to do? The answer is a vivid, giant billboard outside my window: become the truest version of once-in-any-lifetime me. Radiantly. Boldly. Unapologetically. That’s what’s mine to do.
And that’s what’s alive for me.
So, what’s alive for you right now? If it’s that pull toward living more of the life you just know you could be, being more of the person you could be, then I come to this workshop to share that journey with you. Because you’re not alone. We’re all making this up as we go. And you’re not one beat late.
Be good to you.
